How to use DiO Gel

DiO GEL is an easy to use and more potent version of our original formula.  It is roughly 125% the strength of our liquid concentrate formula at full strength. The main reasons to pick DiO GEL are 

  • Stays in place
  • Easy to apply 
  • No mixing

DiO GEL is perfect for spot applications like legs or areas that can't be wrapped.  The best part is you don't need to wear rubber gloves when applying.  Just be sure when applying DiO GEL you don't combine with other products like DMSO.  This can cause some unwanted and adverse side effects.  DiO GEL is safe under other therapeutic products just be sure to check the manufacturer's recommended usage of their products.  High quality products should not have any issues with as DiO GEL is non-abrasive and will not cause staining or deterioration of most materials used in other products.

Alissa Kelley Is a huge believer in DiO GEL.  Here is how she like to use it:

1. Prior to loading my horses in the trailer I use DiO GEL on all four legs of each horse with a pretty thick coat. When I arrive at the show my horses legs are extremely tight and ready to go.
2. One of the great things about DiO GEL is it works well while massaging a horse. I will apply the gel where I know the horse is tight I.e. Neck, hamstrings and back. The gel helps make it easier to work the muscles and get the knots out.
